The birth of Heavenly Humor

I had a dream. I was in a grocery store, looking for a loaf of rye bread for my dad. The store employees were laughing at my sporadic attempt at shopping. I couldn’t find any bread, but I did find a beautiful rye sandwich stuffed with meat. The bread was glazed and golden. I have never seen such a glorious sandwich!

I searched for the dream symbols for this sandwich dream, and found out that rye means ‘cheerfulness,’ bread means ‘the word,’ meat means ‘strong doctrine,’ and caraway means ‘seasoning.’ This dream spoke to my heart about where God was leading me; I was to write humorous devotionals, which are based on God’s word and contain strong doctrine. I had to laugh at that, because that writing style is right up my alley. Pastrami on rye, anyone?
